What it is about

You are responsible for designing, developing, and operating a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You don't see yourself as a "pure Ops-Admin," but rather as a strategic enabler for autonomous product teams: DevOps, platform thinking, and Infrastructure as Code are at the core.

As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you build the foundation upon which our products scale – reliable, automated, and with a clear focus on Developer Experience.

What you will achieve

  • Design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

  • Setup and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code environments (Terraform, Pulumi, CDK)

  • Optimization of CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment frequency and quality

  • Monitoring, logging, and observability: building self-service systems for our developers

  • Collborating with Engineering, Security, and Product teams on performance, scalability, and compliance

  • Building DevOps and platform solutions to improve the Developer Experience

  • Incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous optimization of operational processes

  • Defining guidelines for security, scalability, and resilience

  • Helping shape our cloud strategy and toolchain

What you bring to the table

  • Several years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

  • Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and scaling strategies

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and container orchestration

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative

  • DevOps Mindset: "You build it, you run it" – enabling rather than gatekeeping

  • Hands-on mentality, solution-driven, and a team player

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent educational background

  • Very good knowledge of German and English
